To no surprise Bear Archery, a name synonymous with quality and innovation. One of their models made it to the list of the best crossbows for 2024. Bear X Constrictor Pro

The Bear X Constrictor Pro is available in two finished this year, Stone/Veil Whitetail and Stone/True Timber Strata. It still has a slim profile at 8 inches cocked and 12" un-cocked. Despite its compact size, it delivers intensely powerful performance, firing bolts at a rapid 400 FPS with a draw weight of 200 pounds. It is a forward-draw crossbows that has well needed anti-dry fire mechanism that helps prevents dry firing and it comes with great ready to hunt package. Illuminated Reticle/speed adjustable scope for optics, 3 Bear X True X Max arrows, a 4-arrow top-mount quiver, sling, manual cocking sled, and arrow lube/string wax.

Bear X Constrictor LT

The Bear Constrictor LT is a slightly bigger crossbow but makes it up with the speed and power. It delivers good  performance, capable of shooting arrows at 415 feet per second, backed by a draw weight of 200 lbs, ensuring both speed and lethal penetration. Coming in at 10 inches wide when cocked and 14 inches when un-cocked, this model comes only in a black color finish. The LT model comes with custom quiver placement. The ambidextrous top mount 5-arrow quiver allows you to personalized positioning, giving you comfort and accessibility whether you are left or right-handed. This model also comes with ready to hunt package that includes 3 True X Max 425 grain arrows, top mount 5-arrow quiver, 1-5 x 24 illuminated speed comp scope, sling, aluminum cocking sled, and rail lube / string wax.

Bear X Catalyst 420

Look, say what you want, but the Catalyst 420has all the chances to be crowned best budget crossbow this year. The only draw back in my opinion could be is a scope. Tremendous value that delivers 420 fps comes with a ready-to-hunt  package that includes a 4x32 Scope, 3 Bear X True X Max arrows, a 4-arrow quiver, sling, manual cocking sled, and arrow lube/string wax. With a draw weight of 185 lbs. has enough juice to make damage and also comes with an anti-dry fire mechanism. It is available in black and slightly to the bigger side at 13.5” wide cocked and 16.85” un-cocked Let's wait and see how it will be received and what is the feed back.

Bear X Trance 410 

The Trance 410 from Bear X  has 14.5” power stroke, the delivers a blazing fast 410 fps. Comes with anti-dry fire mechanism that significantly reduces the risk of accidental dry firing, adding an layer of security. It measures an narrow enough at 10" inches wide when cocked and expands to 14 inches when un-cocked. Crossbow is fully equipped and ready for the hunt straight out of the box. Crossbow comes with Illuminated Reticle Scope for precise aiming under various light conditions. It is slightly more expensive than Catalyst 420, but very much abortable.

Bear X Domain 410

The Domain 410 by Bear X is a great example of how a crossbow can be both sleek looking and performing. Available in Stone / Mossy Oak Country Dna it boasts a narrow width of 10. inches when cocked and 14 inches when un-cocked, same as Trance 410. It has the same compact platform with  powerful performance and except the looks has the same package and specs as Bear Trance X crossbow. The Domain 410's has a mechanism capable of intense performance, firing bolts at impressive speeds of 410 FPS, coupled with a draw weight of 185 pounds, making every shot count with force and precision.The Domain 410 comes as a comprehensive ready-to-hunt package. Included are all the essentials: an Illuminated Reticle Scope for precise aiming in various light conditions, three Bear X True X Max arrows that deliver top-notch performance, a 4-arrow quiver for easy arrow accessibility, a sling for convenient transport, a manual cocking rope sled to facilitate easy preparation, and arrow lube/string wax to maintain the crossbow in optimal condition.

Recommended Crossbow Accessory

For little extra you can get the silent Cocking Crank that will  provide you with an easy crossbow cocking and de-cocking. This user-friendly crank reduces the draw weight by 85% which these days I believe is a must have. This gives you such a peace of mind and you will love your crossbow even more.
